| It’s interesting to note how the meaning of the phrase “commercial artwork” has changed over the years. When we started Pina Zangaro back in 1989, our graphic designers were still using Linotronic machines to set type. Presentation-quality artwork took a lot of time and money to produce. And the portfolios this artwork was presented in were all black and mostly made of plastic.
Advances in personal computing and printing have changed all of this. Commercial artwork can now be created quickly and inexpensively using simple tools. This artwork is markedly different from the artwork of 15 years ago, and the products we put this artwork into have also changed.
At Pina Zangaro, we’re working hard to design and produce a line of products that can be used to store, transport and present this new generation of artwork. We believe the products should be of impeccable design and manufacturing quality (sometimes you only have one chance to make a good impression), and that they should be a modular system so that combinations of elements can be brought together for the ideal presentation.
We’re also continuing to build a company that is known for its great service and reliability. We know when it comes to presenting documents and artwork, there is usually no time to spend searching for solutions. You need the right products, right away. More and more, we see service as a key part of our offerings and we strive to make our service as good as our product line.
Please call me or anyone else here at Pina Zangaro with your questions or comments. Our website provides details about our current products and services along with a wealth of information about storing and presenting artwork and documents.
Thanks for your interest in Pina Zangaro!
